Default Clayton Control Arm Torque Specs

Hi,

I have this Clayton Overland + control arms installed on my JKU.

While I was looking at the instructions for torque specs
- rear lower: 90 ft lbs both ends
- rear upper: 95 ft lbs axel side, 120 ft lbs frame side
- front lower: 90 ft lbs both ends
- front upper: 80 ft lbs both ends

Considering factory torque specs are 125 ft lbs except front upper, Clayton torque settings are considerably lower.

Does anyone have Clayton CAs? If so, which torque specs did you follow?

The aftermarket engineers account for the joint type in their torque specifications, which is why they often vary from the OEM specs. If the aftermarket manufacturer specifies torque values, I follow those. If not, I follow the factory.

Agree with AZJeeper. If they are providing new torque specs, I follow those. There is some reason they are determining those new specs.
