Be prepared for everyone telling you that unless you have a d44 or d60 up front, that your axle will explode

Helpful…

Best thing to do is put them on and go test them out flexing to see if you have to trim and bumpstop accordingly. You won't rub on the street provided you have the proper backspacing. And yes, I would highly recommend some reinforcement up front if you're running a stock axle. I would also bet that you'll want to cut the fenders after doing a flex test, depending how flexy your setup is

you will need to trim your pinch seams in the rear to minimize rubbing. I run 37's and 2.5" lift and I was rubbing my pinch seam on the drive home from the tire shop. Just be prepared to hack up some sheet metal.

As was stated, as a preventative measure, I'd trim your rear pinch seam just in case. That way you can eliminate that being a point of contact. And then get on an RTI ramp or some place you can flex out your suspension and bump stop and trim accordingly. Sounds like you should probably have enough in the way of lift, but still need to do everything you can to prevent those tires getting into your body/flares, etc.

Thanks everyone. For right now its primarily a daily driver so not really needing to flex much YET Ive been looking at the nitro sleeve to beefen up the front housing a little. For 100 bucks its a little added security. Anyone have any luck with the nitros?

I myself have the PureJeep axle backbone truss and gussets i got for $130 shipped. I'd throw gussets on there while you're at it for the price. Do you NEED them for street driving no, probably not. But a good ammount of strength added for a small price. My 2 cents.

Did the same thing with basically the same setup. Definitely have to trim pinch seams. But even with trim I was rubbing with a full load of passengers. I went to 4" with no problems rubbing but now driveshaft angle can become issue
