Might sound dumb but I had something similar and it turned out to be the dirt cover on the inside of the rotor was rubbing against the rotor. Was only slightly bent not enough to notice at first glance, but I could see the scoring on the rotor.

I first noticed it when braking under an overpass.

Mine only happens under light pressure to the brakes. Once you press harder it goes away.

Mine does this too, from the driver's side rear...not sure what the cause is yet but braking is fine, suspension is fine...hadn't checked the dirt cover on the rotor, will try that next!

So I crawled up under my jeep and tried to rotate the front driveshaft. When I did this i noticed that my passenger side axleshaft had some play at the u-joint so i am going to replace both with spicer 5-760X's this weekend.

I doubt this was the noise though. I have had bad u-joints on prior vehicles and it is more of a clunk sound.
