Default Clockspring help

So. I didn't think to have the damn wheel centered when I pulled everything to replace the clockspring. The wheel is at about 1030 and I'm ready to put the new clockspring in but my wheel isn't going to line up with yellow tab on the clockspring. Can I pull that tab and just rotate it to line up or will everything in there unwind if I do?

Fixed - for those that may be curious, there's no tension in it. It was installed and I pulled the tab out and turned it to align with the wheel. There's center punch at the 12 o'clock on the splined rod the wheel installs to, and and arrow on the wheel so no big deal if the wheel isn't centered when doing this. Very easy to fix.
