Default clutch noises

so i have had problem after problem with my 07 purchased in december, regardless I just rebuilt the transmission and replaced the clutch with my father, who has been a mechanic and service manager for 32 years. Since replace the entire clutch/slave/throwout bearing whenever i press the clutch i hear a loud creaking noise and when in neutral it clicks (sounds like a train going over tracks)... dad says "dont worry about it and just chug ", however I am just trying to locate the noise to see what really could be going on...

any ideas?

First off, It's nice to see a Jeeper from South County RI. I went to high school at Prout, good to see somewhere from the area.

Second, sorry but not a clue about the noise. If your pops the veteran mechanic says not to worry about it I wouldn't. Just another Jeep thing

Yea he is real good, but he used to drive cars that wouldnt make it to work and he would jimmy rig them on the way, gets me wondering sometimes.

I am orginally from the philadelphia region. I just moved up to RI about a year ago, its great up here!

Mine was doing this for awhile also. Got under it with pressure washer and had someone pump clutch while I sprayed up in that slit on bottom. Stopped the clutch out squealing. Still squeaks when pushing on clutch. Did u play in mud recently? Think that's what did it to mine.

Mine does this too. Have no idea what it is though. Sometimes it's pretty loud. I just think it's a 'jeep thing' haha.

Mine creeks when it's warm. It's sounds like a creaking and clicking and I can feel it in the pedal. It's been doing for well over a year now and the dealer said it - don't quote me - springs on the outer part of the clutch, and that I had mud or something in there that was causing it. For a small fee of $600-$800 they could fix it. It feels like my clutch uses an old rusty tore up cable, that's they easiest way to explain it.

Yes it's from mud. Mine will stop if washed with pressure washer while someone holds down clutch and will stay quiet untill I go through dirty water.

I didn't think it was good to spray water in there because it wouldn't be able to dry? maybe I should do this and not here the creaking when it's warm/.
