My ABS and traction control lights came on after coming off the trails at Uwharrie this Saturday. Also, ABS was not wanting to let my JK move after coming to a stop. Lucky I have the kill switch installed, so just turned it off and keep rolling! Everything looks fine but, I want to know if the Autozone code readers will be able to tell if wheel sensor is bad and if so which one, or only dealer readers can?

It was very dusty, so I am hoping some dirt build up between sensor and tone ring?

I'm not sure if Autozone can or not but when I broke a wheel speed sensor a few lights came on. It was Service 4wd, traction control, and abs.

I took it to Goodyear and they fixed it pretty quickly.

When I had a wheel speed sensor go out on my 09 Ram, the parts store reader could tell me a wheel speed sensor was bad, but not which one. Only the dealership reader could tell which one was bad and needed replaced.

ABS, ESP, and the swerve were the lights that were on for me each time I did it.
