Default Coil spacer question

On top of the stock coil springs there are the small spacers/isolators which I am guessing is about 3/4". My question is when you order a coil spring spacer kit are the new spacers the height they are advertised or is that when they are used with the stock spacer? For example, if you bought a 2" spacer lift and installed them without the stock spacer, would you actually get 1.25" of lift?

i lol'd.

coil spacers are the height of the spacer.

a 2.5" aftermarket coil could give you 4" of lift but a 2" coil spacer will give you 2" of coil unless you got a lot of weight which you'll lose on the coil. you wont ever gain more than advertised height from a coil spacer.

Ok I guess I worded that wrong. I know if you order a 2" spacer the spacer itself is 2". So from what you are saying, if you remove the STOCK spacer that came from the factory, which correct me if I'm wrong, is 3/4", you would realistically only get 1.25" of lift with ONLY the 2" spacer installed. It's a little difficult to explain.

If you order a 2" spacer, it'll be 2". If you order two 1" spacers, it'll still be 2". Keep the factory isolator installed, most kits suggest this.

Ok, I didn't know they recommended to keep the isolator in. I thought about ditching it to get 1.25" as there aren't many options for that height besides body lifts. Thanks for the reply.
