Default Coil Spring Question - Rough Ride

I need some clarification/validation on this.

I currently have OME (Old Man Emu) 2.5" Springs - all four corners have heavy duty springs due to the bumpers and equipment I had been towing.

I am no longed wheeling hard and the ride is pretty rough on the road. I have lightened the front by about 100 pounds and the rear by 80-200 pounds.

I want to swap out the HD springs for either the OME Medium Duty or Light Duty springs.

How much will each of these, if any, improve ride quality?

Appeciate the feedback.....

Are you also running OME shocks?

Actually no - they are skyjacker shocks from when I bought the Jeep new. The Jeep had a bb lift on it - I took the spacers out and put in the springs - initially due to a winch and then just kept adding as the weight went up.

Will shocks increase the rough ride too? I figured they would just stabilize the springs and the lack of give in the spring is the cause.

4x4 with solid axles you will feel the road a bit more than say a car with a front IFS and IRS.
