Default Coils

Sorry age old question. I have on 07 unlimited X with a 2" Teraflex leveling kit. It stills sits low in the front. I have 14/15 coils in front and 59 in the rear. If I put a set of 18 or 19 in the front will it give me another inch or so to make it really level. Only running 285/70/17. Don't want to much of a lift. Want it level to add winch and bumper. Thanks I'm sure it's been asked before.

I think it would raise yours a bit. I replaced my 14/55's with 18/59's on my two door and noticed. I think you might average at best 1/2" per number. Some advice I got from a member was add stock springs up front just for your situation.

I have been investigating the 19/60 upgrade for a while. It seems like everyone has been pleased with their results. I wanted 19/60's and looked for a set of new "used" ones but couldn't ever find 19's. I found 18/59's and 18/60's. Bit the bullet and ordered from dealer. I am in the process of installing JCR offroad bumpers and an Engo E9000 winch. I have a 2012 Sahara and it has 13's up front and 56's in rear. It takes a nose dive every time i brake. I measured the height before i took the stock bumpers off. I'll post my height difference when I get my new bumpers on (hopefully today).

I know there is research on this topic but I'm looking for someone that has a four door and switched. I know it will lift a two door quite a bit. Mine dives on braking and sits lower in front. I have a $1000 saved up for the Jeep fund. Waying switching front springs and doing winch and bumper or just swapping over to a Teraflex 2 1/2 " spring lift. Then if I do that I will want to switch to 35s. It's a viscous circle. Anyway if it would give me 1-2" it would sit level and I would be happy for now. Then I could spend more money on other things.

Got the bumpers installed. It didn't seem to drop any until I pushed down on the boer. It failed to spring back and I measured again-it lowered about 1/2". I'm sure it will lower another 1/2"-3/4" when I get the winch installed.
