I have been away for a few years but I am coming back to the jeep world. I am selling my 14 Silverado for a jk. I am trying to decide between a 3.8 and supercharge it or go 3.6 given my budget I would be looking at 12/13 nothing newer. Do the pentastars have issues those years? And does the 11+, interior refresh, offer any more sound deadening? I'll more than likely do a 2.5" lift and 35s

head issues faulty heads that fail made in mexico chrysler is replacing them if it throws a codes on this issue up to 150,000 miles regarding that but buying used id check into if you will be covered on it .( Get this in writing ) not a cheap job at all im sure
they have a ticking on drivers side you can hear it coming from driver wheel well
plenty of videos on you tube ticking pentastars mine has ticked for 32,000 miles no code yet not as bad or loud as some sound but still has a tick never the less
