I've seen the washer mod to recline the rear seats, looks good. But, looking for some flexibility in simply reclining, and was wondering if anyone has ever tried this.

Not sure about if the dimensions would work, so anyone who has a JKU & a Commander, does this look like it would even be possible?

Kids (7 and 8, girls) and I were crusing today w/ the top off, they were exhausted after a day of swimming, and watching them nod off in the back of the Jeep was painful. There's gotta be a way to recline these freak'n rear seats...

the day I drove home from the dealership, my 10 year old declared his hatred for the seatback angle!

Oh, and he didn't notice a difference with washer mod.

 

What a great thread. We just returned home from a five hour trip from Vermont. Kids were miserable in back. Complained (along with my wife) telling me we should have taken Expedition. I've been thinking about this too. I've got a Command and a Wrangler Unlimited, so I need to do some measuring to see if it will work. I'd like to replace all of the seats in the Wrangler to Commander seats if possible.
