Default Compare the dif. BB's out there for me

I tried searching for this but came up unlucky....so here it goes,

I've only had my JK Limited X for about two weeks now and I've been scouring over this forum trying to figure out what is being done and what looks good. I've come to the conclusion that I am going to try and do things right and not do an expensive build, un-build, and re-build like I did with my 04 rubi.

My plan is to buy 35x12.5x16 tires and new wheels and go ahead and get the regear done now. I'd like to throw on a 2.5" BB to take care of the suspension but I don't want a crappy road ride.

My jeep is my daily driver and I want to keep it running nicely on the road. The summer will bring plenty of sand trips and trail rides, but nothing major. I only disconnected my rubi a couple times and I had it a few years.

My question is...what BB is the best bang for the buck and isn't going to let me down. It'll probably be on my jeep for a few years until I decide to degrade it to a weekend warrior, so I don't want an incomplete kit that will screw up my allignment and give me treadwear issues.

The RC BB is really inexpensive but a lot of you guys are running the Teraflex setup. I have upgraded shocks already so I like the idea of shock extensions but what am I missing with these price differences. Is it simply a quality issue?

sorry in advance for the long post, just wanted to be specific as possible

i dont even know if Rocky Road makes a BB for the jk yet but i had one on my TJ rubicon and it did everything i wanted. the flex was nice and the ride was just fine even with factory shocks. i was 100% satisfied with it. i sold the jeep and happened to see it today about a year later still same everything i had on it. check them out.

The rough country kit also has the coil retension design. Their shocks also have built in bumpstops. The rear lift on the rough country is only 2 inches. Most will tell you the relocation for brake lines and traction bars are unnecessary at that amount. Not to forget, but the rough country lift also takes care of the rake of the vehicle.

thanks for all of those comments...I have bought from northridge4x4 before and he wouldn't steer me wrong...my main concern was that the rough country wasn't even available there so I know he wouldn't have recommended it

I'm almost dead set on getting the TF 2.5 BB but I'll wait on my tax returns to hit my bank account...next I just have to find the best place out there to get a wheel/tire package shipped to my door

thanks again for the comments

doesn't matter if you have the disco swaybar or not. you will need extended front links when you start flexing it out. I have a 2" Black Diamond B/B, and I had my links get inline with the swaybar, but lucky me, it got back in line when I "un-flexed" it. i figured that was enough......
