Default Comprehensive Wheel Listing for the JK???? PICS...

Has anyone compiled a comprehensive wheel list for the JK? I would like to see available sizes/styles that will work with the JK bolt pattern. Pictures would be great. This would be helpful because there are so many different manufacturers and suppliers. I think it is hard to find one place to see all of the available wheels. If you know of a site that covers most manufacturers, please post it. Otherwise star posting what wheels you have including size and mfg....

Thanks,

Also- 5x127mm and 5x5 bolt are patterns the same. What other vehicles use the 5x127?

Now you take that info and combine it with tire height and width then divide it by your backspacing, take the coefficient of the offset, muliply that by your wheel spacer width, make sure you interact those numbers with the temperature and tire pressure, don't forget the amount of lift taking into consideration the spring rate and you will then have a 87% chance that your wheels will fit right. Wait...87 is the octane we should use.

I would like to see all the 15'' wheels that would fit. I like the look of 15 on 35 rubber. Its a lot cheaper also. So far I like the look of the 170 ION's I think thats the number?

If you don't already know if you need Beadlock rims, then you most likely don't. AEV has a whole page about their beadlocks. Have you been to their website?

Default Beadlocks

Thanks, I ck'd out their site and they are definately NOT for me!

"If you want them because they look cool, beadlocks are certainly not for you. Proper maintenance of these wheels is critical and requires the consumer to do the initial install correctly, re-torque the wheels at least once a month, and replace all the bolts every year at minimum. It's a good idea to develop a routine of looking over the wheels at every fuel stop, just as you would check your engine oil."

I'll keep looking, maybe the Pintlers w/out the Beadlocks..

Thanks again!

Default I have the AEV Pintler Beadlocks

I run these wheels, Argent color. They are great wheels. I mounted one the other day with nothing more then a 1/2" socket and a 3/8" torque wrench. I love these wheels. I run beadlocks on all my Jeeps. I've never had problems with any of them. I have Trailready aluminum beadlocks on my TJ and beat the crap out of them and never even broke a single bolt on them. I check the torque on them probably 3 or four times a year. I just sold my YJ with Eaton Steel beadlocks. They too were good but I did break a few bolts on them. But the AEV Pintlers are probably the best single beadlock wheel made. They are cast as an actual beadlock and not welded or modified. I've checked the torque on them once. I don't drive my Jeep othen though. I've got a little over 2,000 miles on them now. They are a purpose wheel and when you need new tires are a pain to swap and tire stores are afraid if them. So if you don't rock crawl or desert race your Jeep I don't recommend them. About the warnings on them. It's a liability thing.
