Default Compressor mounting

Does anyone know why I shouldn't mount an air compressor behind the taillights? Also how about any available kits or how to's write up on the project?

Taillights? Do you mean headlights?

Like that. Exactly would it work with a viair compressor. R there any instructions for mounting? I guess it's self explanatory.

I mounted a vair compressor behind my right rear taillight 2 1/2 years ago. Still works great!
