Default Confused on Drive Shafts... Help

OK, i need a new front Drive shaft, and I really dont understand what variables there are in different drive shafts...

The 2 I am looking at are the Coast 1310
http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...-1310-JK-FRONT
and the Tom Woods
http://www.quadratec.com/products/52301_9800.htm

Installation wise, are these both the same? Does one do better than the other?
I am going to 3" TF lift, and already have front adj LCA's if that matter, in an Automatic.

Can someone help me with these 2 DS's and help me pick the better of the 2

Thanks

Either would be good, but Northridge has free shipping.

I get a discount from QT, so they come out to be about the same... so price at this point shouldnt play into it

You didn't say that. Coast, Reel, Tom Woods have all gotten good and some bad reviews. Think they're all about the same.

I'm ggoing with Coast. Like the idea of being able to switch out the driveline with ease. Coast says they have not had vibration concerns with their adaptor plates. I'll find out soon. Hoping I can get a total 1350 made for the front.

Personally, I bought a Tom Woods shaft, bought it direct.. no problems, concerns etc.. the install is actually a lot more tricky than meets the eye (need to check and set the preload on the front pinion bearing correctly) If I were to do it again, I would probably buy whichever shaft re-uses the stock flanges.

Does that Coast I linked to in my OP use the OE flanges, or does it require new everything? I really dont know how which one uses new stuff and which one just has adapter.

Nope, the coast uses new yolks. The TWoods has a replacement yolk for the tranfer case/ adapter for the diff. Now, at one time Coast was making adapter plates, dunno if they still are.

Ask the GoogleGod's to take you to Coast driveline. They are doing plates. I would like to get a front that is 1350 with adaptor plate. I am a little worried about vibration a speeds but am willing to try one out if they can make it. I talked to a guy at Coast today and am waiting for a call back. Any thoughts on this??? Anyone got one.
