Control Arm Bolts
Sometimes the 1/2 fits and sometimes it doesn't. It just depends on the tolerance of the original hole. It's no big deal to open it up a few thousandths; which is all you are doing.
A couple of minutes with a small hand held circular file and it fit perfectly. Then hit the filed areas with the propane torch to heat it up, a little 1200 degree ceramic engine paint, and it's done..

Yeah 55 dollars is way to much for three bolts and nuts
.
Im fabbing up my own rear bumper with tire carrier so I need a few more bolts and just ordered from bolt depot. It was alot cheaper than the dealer. And as Piginajeep said I am not going to alter the bolt or the bolt hole.

Sort of off the subject with regard to control arm bolts...
I am looking for torque spec for these when replacing the arms... I am guessing about 100lbs based on their tightness during removal, but I hate to guess...
New LCA's installed last night to fix DW... we shall see if it works.
