Default Control arm drop bracket

Who makes the best(aev, rancho, rc, etc) and why?

I've been doing some research on it myself and I've came up with two thoughts:

First is aev, for their different mounting holes, you can kinda dial in the ride.

The other would be Rancho for their solid piece design.

So what one is really the best option?

I've got a 2014 2 door with 18/59 coils and 2" coil spacers. I'm on a set of 35x12.50x17 nitto mud grapplers and I get a bit of wandering on the highway.

Not going to say what is best.

I went with the Rancho brackets. I liked the one piece design, comparably priced. Installation was pretty straight forward.

I have the AEV bracket and have zero complaints about quality of the part or anything else

I have the Rough Country on mine and installed an AEV on my buddies. I like the 3 hole of the AEV is $10 more and mounts the exact same way. I haven't messed with the Rancho.

On a side note: I was at the 4WD.com Jeepfest a few weeks ago and the guy behind the Skyjacker booth (who has been 4 wheeling for 52 years) had no idea what these were for and what they did.

Obviously! Why would you need them when you can install cam bolts and drop pitman arms??

I had 18/60 and 10a front coils/60 on my 14 jkur and with 2" spacers did not have the required lift to use aev brackets. They have a diagram which shows were to measure but with 2" spacer I doubt you will have enough lift.

With a 2" spacer they wouldn't be a bad idea to install and use the 2.5" hole. Maybe you end up with .5 degrees more positive castor over stock. Better than being under stock numbers.

TnT Customs makes a one-piece bracket that's very stout.

I think you might be better served by some adjustable upper control arms. That will allow you to dial in possible caster issue. You can pick quality like Metalcloak for about 200.

I saw somewhere that Teraflex offers fixed-length control arms for lifts of 2-3 inches that would negate the need for brackets. They're off-catalog, so message them for details.

I haven't decided which route I'm going to go when I lift, but I like the idea of avoiding brackets if I can. (I just don't like adjustable arms.)
