Default Control Arm Install?

What is the best way to install some Front LCA's and Rear Upper CA's, both sets are Teraflex ones'. I put my own lift on but I am not sure about the control arms, castor, and pinion? Thanks in advance

Proper tools of correct sizes ( mainly 21mm and a pipe wrench) and a jack, rachet strap. Do them one at a time.

I might add that a good place to start on your front lower CA's is 23in eye to eye. Rear pinion , depends on how bad off your angle to tcase is, kinda gotta play with it. If your pinion is not in line with your driveshaft you'll have to lengthen the uppers abit from stock measurements.

Couple random thoughts:

1. Don't torque down any of the hardware until the full weight of the Jeep is on it. You'll want a 150-lb or so torque wrench, and eat your Wheaties that morning. LOL.

2. Are you certain you need that rear upper? Some folks have had trouble getting it short enough to fit. I may be wrong (have no personal experience), but I seem to recall something about those being for taller lifts than what you list in your profile (2.5" TF coil). BTW: Good luck getting at those rear upper bolts with a torque wrench.

Can I put the control arms on one at a time while the Jeep is on the ground? Or do I need to have it on jack stands? I'm thinking I could just pull one off, then use a ratchet strap to help put the bolts in. Then repeat for the other one.

Yeah I loosened all my bolts when I installed my lift, then torqued once the full weight was on the ground.

I am pretty sure I need them since I got over 3 inches in the rear, and ever since I have been having a vibration in the driveline over 50MPH. I got a 2Dr. I think I saw a write-up where someone just torqued the upper control arm bolts while the tires were off, this is what I plan on doing.

yes you can do the fronts while it sits on the ground, i adjusted mine to the length, unbolted the drivers side, pulled it, put the new one in with the help of a friend rolling the tire front or back and repeat from pass side. 20 min max! oh don't forget to tighten

Sounds good! I think I will try this out for the fronts. What length did you wind up setting yours too? Thanks
