Control arm question
I'm getting a Zone 3" lift on my 08 4dr JK tomorrow.
How important is it to install front upper and lower control arms? Is it critical to reset the caster angle after the lift and can it be done without control arms?
I'll have 35s on and be on - road about 90% of the time. (it's a 2wd).
Thanks.

reguardless if its 2wd or not, u will prob want either both, or just a set of control arms to adjust the caster back closer to stock to make the highway handling feel normal, or better.
me i would go with lowers. alot easier to adjust IMO.

It is a preference, not a must have. I personally hated the flighty handling over 3" with stock arms, but others are more tolerant and waited to upgrade. Drive it after the lift and decide for yourself.
If you do decide to correct the caster, you have several options. Being that you have a 2wd and probably won't be beating it ofroad, you could get away with a $20 set of Cam Bolts. (these have some drawbacks, especially for those that go offroad, but are an option to consider). New 'fixed' arms or drop brackets would be another option. Adjustable arms would be the most expensive, but arguably the best option. If you choose new arms, you will only need one set, not both. Uppers are cheaper, but lowers offer a better range of adjustability.
Just looked on their website. They offer cams for $9.95
