Front shafts can last quite a while...what happens is with full flex and an automatic trans, the boot on the drive shaft tears. After it tears start looking for a new shaft....

As for the brackets, they were designed specifically for AEV's lift. There is no adjustability, so with someone else's lift you can hope they do the trick...

I drive a manual. Does that make much of a difference?

Uppers are generally cheaper to buy and get the job done. Our control arms are 100% maintenance free, no grease, no noise.

I'm so eager to install them that when they get delivered this week I'll probably put them on in the driveway even though it's barely 20degrees outside!
I just installed a set of High Clearance RK's and it makes a HUGE difference! I wish I had done it sooner, but $$$$ usually run short..... Got these for $250 shipped to my door, not too bad

And they were also saying rear uppers, will those fix the rear tires from looking like they are to far forward? You said I only need rear uppers if I get a new driveshaft but won't it also help the stock driveshaft?
