I also have a 2-door, with the 4-door TF 2.5" coil lift. I'm definitely getting control arms.
So you installed the the lift w/o the arms and now feel you need them?

Definitely need at least the front lowers to dial in the caster and get rid of the flightiness.

How long have you been running them w/o?

Thanks

Or, were the mounts something that really only come into play for somebody doing hard core wheeling (which again, isn't me)?
As you know from your research there is no welding involved and is a fairly easy install as well.

I get that Radius arms might be a reasonable suspension suggestion for the OP's use...but in order to get radius arms you essentially need to completely remove the existing 4 link system and switch to long arm radius arms. That's an expensive and difficult way to address minor geometry issues.

OP, simply go out and buy a QUALITY set of adjustable control arms. Front lowers should be all you truly need for 3" of lift...but rear uppers are not a bad idea to keep your pinion angle dialed in. For my money, I'd spend the couple extra dollars to go with a brand like Currie, Clayton, or ORE. The all use Currie Johnny joints - and quality, greaseable, rebuildable joints are the key to a suspension system that will last.
Not as expensive as you would think, in fact it is often times cheaper. Some will argue the whole 4 link vs a radius arms set up, but both systems works as many off road manufacturers make both types of systems, as we do.
Made in the USA!

I have Rusty's lower front, and are very weel made! Would have gotten rear, but wear not in production yet, so I got TeraFles rear uppers.

If money is not an issue, go with JKS! You get quiet rubber bushings, which are cheaper to replace. Money was an issue when I got my fronts so I went with Rusty's. He build custom control arms and I was going to have him build me some with oem bushing on both ends, but he said he was having trouble getting oem bushings at the time and I was in a hurry.

Haven't been running the lift for long, and noticed the flightiness right away. This doesn't bother some people though.
