Default Control arm rubbing

Recently put rock Krawler lower control arms in the front. Now I am rubbing the passenger side arm when turning all the way to the right. I don't rub the driver side, and in fact it looks like there is still a couple of inches of clearance at full lock.

I didn't have the issue with my stock arms, or at least I don't believe I did. I know I can adjust the steering end point, but I am wondering if an adjustable track bar would solve the problem as well. I have the TF 2.5bb with an extra 1/2 inch spacer up front. I don't know how far my axle is off center, but I assume it is not enough to make the difference in rubbing or not even with the axle recentered.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Your axle not being centered is probably the culprit. Measure how of center you are. Either way, some rubbing isn't a big deal.

i had the same issue with my RK lcas. after your axle is centered, there is a write up on project jk which addresses the steering stop. worked great, a simple fix.

thanks guys!

i wondered if it was worth it to get an adjustable track bar, or just work on the steering stops for the endpoints.

i may start with the track bar anyway - i don't know how far it is off - i haven't measured it - but i am sure it is off by something and it's just an excuse to buy something and tinker some more.

if it does not fix the problem, i can always go back and adjust the steering end points...
