Control Arms??
I currently have 2010 JKU with a 4" Pro-Comp lift. It did not come with any new control arms.
I am now looking into getting some adjustable control arms.
Is it ok to just get the lower arms? For example, some companies do not have the upper arms, so are they really that necessary?
Thanks

You'll be fine with front lowers. Adding both sets will let you fine tune the caster and/or pinion angles, and also allows you to move the entire axle forward/backward in the wheel well.
I am not up to speed on ProComp lifts, just a heads up to verify that you do not have Cams installed before adding the adj lowers.

What I have is just a basic 4" spring and shocks.
I am looking for more adjustability, would love to go long arm, but Uncle Sam doesn't pay me that much!!
SORRY TO HI JACK BUT I DO HAVE CAM BOLTS IN FRONT LOWERS... WHAT DO I DO.
With Cams, they have to cut notches out of your brackets, so you will want to remove them and get those notches welded back up before you install the new ca's.

Cams are the poor mans adjustable control arms. They are dirt cheap, and offer a limited amount of caster correction, but tend to slip when offroad, and as noted above, you need to have the holes welded back up if you get rid of them. (some alignment shops like to sneak them in so they can adjust the caster...)

You have to remove the cam bolts and weld the hole in the bracket back to stock hole position to use adj control arms. I have the ProComp lift too and did not use the cam bolts and got LCA's off the bat. This forum saved me from doing cam bolts.
edit: People have welded washers to get them back to "stock" round.

I have read of people welding the Cams to keep them from slipping, but have not seen posts from anyone who has left the cams in place and then added adjustables. I suppose you 'could' do it, but why not just remove them and do it right?
