What size lift? Either will work, but front lowers are considered to be the better choice.

Uppers should be less expensive. They are slightly more difficult to install since you may need to cut off a bolt or pry the exhaust out of the way. They are adjusted shorter than stock, so at taller lift heights may not go short enough to get the caster where you want it.

Lowers are generally more expensive. They are adjusted longer than stock, so would be the better choice if only doing one set on a taller lift. Beefier than stock arms, which can be a plus for dragging across rocks.

It's a 2.5" spacer lift but planning on getting 3"evo plush ride coils.

So are you going for the Evo Control Arms? Right now I wish I had, being i'm messing with caster, pinion angles and having to take the control arm off each time. Buddy said,"Once you have it set, you don't need to touch them." I think it would have been a lot easier for me to have the Evo's at this piont. My caster's at 6* (or 0* @ the flange) and the output shaft (transfer case) is at 5.5 degrees.

PS: I was lazy and took it to a alignment shop... They would touch it. To much work for them i guess. Evo's they probably will
