Default Which control arms should I upgrade first?

I am running 37" with stock control arms and cam bolts, and I want to upgrade the controls arms to a set adjustable ones, however, with limited budget, which one of them should I upgrade first? I think I really need a set of adjustable ones to get better handling on the road. Please tell me, thanks!

unfortunately, since you installed cam bolts, you will need to weld/repair your control arm mounting holes on your axle. after that, i personally would recommend adjustable front lowers as you will get a greater degree of adjustability but, they are a bit more expensive than uppers. if you're on a budget, uppers will do the job too but, i would still get rid of the cam bolts and get your mounts fixed.

Thanks for the reply! I remember the day I installed the cam bolts in the jeep deal, and I think they didn't do modification on the mounting holes. On the other hand, if they did some modification on the mounting holes, it is safe for weld or repair on them?

if the installer didn't cut your mounting holes into slots like they were supposed to have, you're in luck. if they did, you will need to have washers or something welded on to the mounts to make the slots back into sqare or round holes. this is safe and needed.

Thanks again, I will check later for sure. By the way, if I replace the front lower and rear lower CAs, my road handling will improve right? Also, will the rear lower CAs push my rear axle to the back a litte bit?

if you replace your front lowers and lengthen them a bit to give you more caster, yes, it will help your on-road handling. you do not need rear arms and they will not help your handling. and, even if you did get them, there is very little adjustment you can make to them without it causing your coils to hit your track bar. i would just leave well enough alone there.

Okay, I got it. So the front upper and front lower CAs are the ones that will improve the road handling ability. What about the rear upper and lower CAs, are they just provide off road flexiblity?
I am considering Full Traction adjustable CAs, and they usually combine them with 4" lift kit, however, I am using a RE 3.5" lift and 1" BL, so will the FT CAs work with my lift kit, or as long as they are adjustable?

the rear uppers will allow you to set your pinion angle after installing an aftermarket driveshaft. depending on how much lift you have, the rear lowers will allow you to reposition your axle back to where it should be. on top of that, the arms are much beefier and the joints will allow for more bind free flex.

Thanks for the info. So will the adjustable CAs from FT 4" lift kit work with my current RE 3.5" lift?
