Default conversion to long arm kit?

Not sure if it's been addressed yet... I have a superlift 4" and running stock control arms. I will eventually be purchasing new control arms possibly currie or jks. Question is what would be involved with my set-up to convert it to a long arm. Is it just longer arms and does it require cutting and or welding mods.

I know there are lots of people that say with the jk a long arm kit isn't necessary, but from what I've seen the people that have them aren't sorry about the added flex.

No matter what long arm you go with, you'll end up cutting the stock control arm brackets off the frame. Its really not that hard.

Some companys require welding new brackets on. The Fulltraction is a complete bolt on system. They offer a long arm upgrade that'll let you keep your coils and shocks.

teraflex also has the upgrade available. its a weld on kit.

Rock Krawler also has the parts to get you set up and from what I've found, their stuff is STOUT.

Stout indeed! Little bit more involved install though. I love mine.

The JK doesn't has short arm (like the TJ), it has "medium" arm.
To see the difference you have to do rock crawling.
