Long arms would require cutting off the stock control arm frame brackets, a new trans cross member, and 8 control arms just for starters. Search for install instructions for the many long arm kits on the market to get an idea of what's involved. I have a 4" Full-traction kit on my '09 Rubicon 4 door and love it.

On the two door its a big difference in ride quality from short to long arm.

We offer the long arm upgrade that consists of frame brackets, all 8 control arms, cross member and skid plate. You need to use your coils, shocks, trackbars.

The kit retails for 1895.99 (Bolt on long arm)

Ok,, thanks to everyone that replied. Cutting off mounts ect. Thats what I was wondering,, just how (do it yourself) friendly a conversion it would be. Sounds like something I would have a shop do.
Next step will be to check labor costs.
Thanks again.

I installed mine with a cut off wheel and grinder before I worked at Full-Traction. It's not hard just time consuming

Generally labor is around 1,200
