Default Cool cheap mod

Just thought I would share this idea I had and actually did yesterday that has no functionality at all ha but I think it looks orrery good. I wanted to change up the look of my diff cover but I have no need for an aftermarket one and I didn't want to paint it any color since I kinda have a silver and black theme going on. What I did was change the stock bolts to stainless Allen head bolts with some small stainless washers. It makes it look a lot more aggressive and the bolts kinda match the color of my jeep ill post a pic later but I just thought I would share. I got the jeep fever really bad and I love changing little details all over the place and this was one of my favorites I have to say.

Awesome. Can't wait to see some pics. I painted mine cherry red. Would love a new idea for front.

Edit: Looks much beefier. If I didn't know any bette, I'd have asked what aftermarket diff cover you have.

Exactly beefier is the perfect word, and for under $20 I'm all smiles!

Yep I installed a 6 inch round magnaflow just in front of the axle and I love it. The bolt size is 5/16-18x3/4. I got mine at lowes in the specialty hardware.

Looks great. running to lowes this weekend. What torque? How's the performance and sound from your exhaust with the magnaflow? Any pictures ? What's part number.
I was thinking of doing a one into two type of exhaust

Cool mod thanks for the share....I'll be doing this one next time axle fluid change is required (next few months)
I like the look of the contrast black to stainless....will match my RR wheels.

Except I will need to paint my axle tubes, they are not as nice looking as yours.
