Default Coolant issue

Well I'm a bit confused, my 2016 has a reddish orangeish color in the coolant reservoir. After doing some research it seems that MOPAR changed the coolant in the 2012ish timeframe. So theoretically I should have a purple color type coolant. Why is mine orange? And what coolant should I use to top off the reservoir? Thanks for any help!

That OAT coolant has a purple additive. If you put it in a clear bottle it will look purple, but if you just open the radiator cap and look in it will look a dirty'ish orange. The change from HOAT to OAT was in 2013. You can pull some out of the radiator with a turkey baster or something similar if you really want a color test. Is this jeep new-to-you? If you are not the original owner, there is always that slim chance PO flushed the system and put something else in, but odds are it is still the Mopar OAT coolant.

I think I get a gallon of concentrate for $23 at my local dealer which isn't too terrible. I prefer the concentrate that I mix myself as it's a bit cheaper than buying premix.
