Default Corbeau 2", 3 point harness

I am looking to get some corbeau 3 point harnesses for my 2dr (the non retractable ones). I am planning on using my stock seats for now. Has anyone mounted the harness without welding a bar to the roll cage behind the seats. For example to the floor or to an existing mounting point. If so can you post pictures or share any knowledge. Thank you.

Mounts should be at shoulder level. Mounting to the floor can cause spinal compression.

So the single mounting strap that goes under the headrest and back should be mounted at shoulder level?

yes. Rock hard makes a mounting bar that bolts to the B pillar.

There needs to be a "hard point" level with to 10* lower than the shoulders, for the reasons JE8154 stated.

That hard point doesn't "need" to be where the shoulder strap tabs are mounted. You can either mount the shoulder straps to a harness bar, or mount them to a solid point on the floor as long as they use a harness bar as a pivot.

I'd also attach the waist straps to the rear seat bolts with a 90* tab. That should put them in the 45*-60* range to keep the waist belt in the pelvic pocket. The floor bolts are plenty strong for a mount.

Sorry for the questions just want to do it right, so eigher way I need to install the bar? You are saying I don't need to mount to it but I need to pass over it behind the seat?

yes it's just eliminating the downward pull. You can mount one end of the harness to the floor behind the seat as long as you're using a bar to eliminate the downward pressure.

Perfect or the other option is to secure it directly to the pole
