Default Corner Guards

Hey I'm not much of a rock crawler but what would you need the corner guards for? I was thinking the only time would be if you flip and it would I guess help the back from getting smashed or backing up into a boulder or something but what are some other reasons for corner guards? I think they look nice on Jeeps but don't know what their needed for.

Because they look cool.

They help protect from trail damage, trees, etc.

Yes they are used more frequently with ROCK CRAWLERS and anyone who does not drive to the mall. On the trail I have used mine many times and it saves the body and just gets scratched a little, remove it and have it repowder coated if you want it to look pretty all the time. It saves you from bringing it into a paint shop and repainting the whole side of your jeep.

Guess I don't need them then for playing in mud and sand.

Mine have saved me from several trees and one rock so far. I just use a rattle can so touch up is a breeze. Pic during the build process.
