The average is a 10% differenceI don't know why anyone has to make it more complicated than that

Make it real simple, measure the height of the tire from the ground to the top of the tire. Put a level on the top of the tire and measure from ground to level and presto! Most calibrators are in 1/2" increments. If you can get it within 1/2" you will be A-OK.

For cheapy options you can go to AEV pro-call or Pro-Comp Accu-Pro. I think you are at $150 and $200 respectively.

The units measure tire diameter rather than circumference, you don't need to worry about Pi much. Check with GPS and be good.

I found this thread while doing a search to my question of "Will larger tires change the accuracy of my OEM GPS/NAV system (uConnect model # RER)?" Anyone know for sure? I was going to use the built in NAV to check speedo and milage when switching from factory 32s to bigger 35s and all this dawned on me (although I only have 60 miles on my new Rubicon so I haven't really had a chance to gauge what its baseline is).

Yeah, I know. Just want to get her properly dressed up before taking her out to the big dance. Should be ready to go in about a week or so. Also wanting to keep the miles low on the stock rubber because I'll probably be selling them soon after the mods happen. Trust me, shell be getting plenty dirty

Anyone here happen to know answers to question about built in GPS and larger tires?
