Default Cost of an adjustable offset ball joint installation

I recently installed a 3" FT Premium Plus lift before installing 35" KM2's. I followed the front end alignment in the Project JK write up but thought it would be wize to have it checked by an alingment shop. The alignment shop in Concord told me that the camber was positive 1.5 positive on one side .5 positive on the other and that the solution was to install the offset adjustable lower balljoints so they could bring the camber back into spec. I was surprised to see an estimate of $650 plus alignment.

All you need is some adjustable lower control arms to dial your camber back in. I thought your kit came with them, but I guess not or the alignment shop would have been smart enough to see that.

With the adjustable control arms, you can adjust the caster angle, not the camber. As the shop said you'll need the offset ball joints to adjust the camber.

Thats about right for a BJ install. Make sure they put Moogs in though. They're greasable. About $100 each.

You could rent a b-joint press from an auto parts store, you'd just have to order an adapter cup the right size for the jk joint, its about $50. Bad thing about adj B-joints is trying to set them without an alinement machine, once they're set and you press them in, thats it. You get everything back together and its off, you'll be tearing it back down.

What I'm having a hard time figuring out is how you got pos camber. Usually end up with neg camber from the upper C bending in.
