Default Cragar

Anyone with Cragar rims or experience with them in the past? I was looking at the simulated beadlock but want to get the real beadlock they make, any details on this?

I've ran Cragers on several vehicles in the past. On both Mustangs and Jeeps. Maybe others too. They make quality stuff. I didn't know they made real beadlocks though.

If I'm not mistaken, Cragar makes "streetlocks" for Pacer and that's what I'm running. 15x10 4" BS

The fit well, but with 4" bs you've gotta be a fan of your tires sticking out about 2" past the flares.

I'm debating between the Cragar 17x9 and the AEV Pintler 17x8. I get all the advantages and disadvantages of alloy vs. steel, and I'm not a hard-core offroader. I'm leaning toward the Cragar, but only because of the extra expense.

I was a little worried about the weight difference though. I'm a little worried about changing the ride by adding extra unsprung weight on the wheels. I was going to add the Skyjacker steering stabilizer to off-set.

Can anyone give me an approximate weight difference between these two wheels? Any experience on ride change by adding the extra weight on the wheels? Do you think I need a steering stabilizer? Or will it all be nearly unnoticable?
