Creaking noise

Default Creaking noise

Im getting a creaking noise in the rear when i go over speed bumps. Could the rear shocks be done?

Easy way to check the shocks is to push down on the rear of the Jeep..better yet get up on the bumper and make like your going to jump up and down. If it seems as if there is little to no resistance and a lot of bounce, you could be do.
Also look to see if they're leaking oil.

My guess is to try spraying the rear swaybar bushings with wd40 and see if it stops...good luck

Could be more than just your shocks, It can be your tailgate possibly, maybe even your tire carrier if you have bigger tires than stock. Can also possibly be your brake pad shield. What ever you do, check and fix one thing at a time or you won't know what it is as supposed to doing it all at once.... Catch my drift?
