Default Creeper Breathers

Has anyone ever tried using these instead of extended breather tubes? I would think these give enough expanding/contracting room for any pressure variances that would occur in an axle when being submerged and cooled.

I just thought it would be nice to not have to worry about running breather tubes. I realize they are easy to do, but its two less hoses to worry about... And these makes the axles completely water proof.

I haven't heard of these but I'd be interested to hear if they are worth it. I still haven't gotten around to extending my breathers yet

I have a buddy who runs these on an 06 LJ with 40" Swampers, and he swears by them. I just was wondering if there was any reason not to on the JKs.

I guess if you do any type of water forging, ANY type of breathers will be good, as long as they are sealed and water tight.

that's the only drawback I can see right off the bat. You'd have to be extra certain you got the right amount of fluid or risk blowing the seals

Seriously they ARE RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE to extend, hell if you dont put a hose clamp on at the axle, which you should, you dont even need any tools to do it other then a knife to cut the line to size, I dont get what you all are waiting for? Even if you do the rear up behind the tail light like I did you only need a philips screwdriver, so two screwdrivers and a knife.

STOP WAITING AND DO IT PEOPLE

yeah that little thing would work but I would worry about it getting ripped, hose would be better I think and it works really, all you need to do is follow the line thats there now
