Default Currie Coil Retainer Install

I had some currie coil retainers sitting around that I had bought awhile ago, and I finally got around to trying to install them today. The lowers I had no issue with, but the uppers, the directions indicate you should just be able to reach over the frame and drop them in, but on my 2011 JKU, there seems to be a bar in the way so there is only a small slot to be able to squeeze the hardware into. Before I force it in, does anyone know if I'm just totally off base, or if there was a change on the 2011 rear coil area that changed the way these were supposed to be installed? Just seems like getting the washers and nut on will be impossible since there's no way I can get my hand in there

Same question here... I think I have the same problem on my 2013 JKUR.

Has anyone successfully installed the Currie retainers on a 2011-2013 JK?

The space above the rear coil pockets in less than an inch on all JKs. My old spacer kit was a pain to do. Ended up lifting the body up to get proper access.

I just looked at it and I don't see how anything thicker than a penny could be squeezed through... :(

Weird, its been awhile. I don't remember it being a big deal, when I did em. A little awkward, but not bad. I definately know on my 11, there was no bar over that section.
