Custom BUMPER DONE and TESTED!
Thanks for the comments guys.....I do have some pics but not a lot of the whole process. It would be kind of hard to do a write up as it was a lot of measuring....plasma cutting welding then grinding....we really didnt use many "hard and fast set measurements" per se...except for the main square part...the tubes were a lot of trial and error. And the winch box part we had to engineer something totally different using the crossmember with support brackets, along with gussets under it and a section of angle iron. The thing is rock solid.
It was a BEAR to put on though....getting to a couple of the carriage bolts to put the nuts on was crazy...
If i was to do it again (and I wont be
) I would try to think of another way to mount it to the frame...

I don't think I could build the same bumper again if I wanted to. Anyway...good job and looks good too.

Even though it is based on the Smittybilt....it isnt the same...
Another thing I would suggest for anyone using the duplicolour bedliner. After spraying it, it does dry to touchable pretty quick. Leave it for at least 3 days though for it to really harden up....I waited a day to mount mine and it was still a little soft....(I didnt have a choice, I was going on a run on Sat, painted it on the Wednesday and mounted on the Thursday)
I touched up the trail mark I made on Sat last night and the bedliner is very hard now...
