Custom front stinger bumper
Started with a piece of 6x6 angle 1/2 inch thick (if I did it again I would use 6x7 angle and maybe a bit thinner. Had a hard time mounting the winch)
Cut it 43" long then I cut a 30 degree cut on both sides of the front face making it taper down from 43" to 37".
I then placed the pice of angle on the front bumper mounting pads centered it up and marked the 8 holes for the bumper. I drilled them out to 1/2" holes and bolted it up.
Now for the stinger.
It is 1.75 .120 wall tubing bent on a jd squared bender with a 5.5 radius die.
The software gave me an overall length of 55.67" with a 129.18 bend at 21.63" and it worked great just placed it where I wanted it on the top of the bumper set it up and marked and cut the angle for the bottom of both legs and welded in place.
This bend gives you 32" outside to outside width at the stinger base and just enough hight to see roughly 3-4 inches from the drivers seat. I will be going back with some gussets for the stinger but this is the progress so far.
