Default Custom Made Sliders Thread?

Hey guys,

I remember seeing a few months back a writeup of how to weld a set of rock sliders for less than $100. I would like to do this mod. I'm trying to find that thread and I'm having trouble, if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Mike

I don't know the thread you're talking about but I did a search and found this one. I can't see pics because of my computer but hopefully this is what you needed.

You can find a set of rubi-rocker guards for $100 or less pretty easy. IMO its not worth the hassle to build a set of rockers for a JK. BTW, 4door/Unlimited Rubicon rock-rails fit perfect on 2doors, just chop'em

yah, but where is the fun in that? Plus you get them custom built they way you want

I considered this but the cost of the metal and trying to find a good metal bender didn't make it practical. The bumper on the other hand was way worth it.

You don't have to bend it. Just miter the joints.
