Default Custom wheels causing an issue....

I have a set of raceline renegade 5 series wheels on my JK. The offset is 0" and the backspacing is 4.75. According to rancho this is not within the spec requirements of the 4" sport kit that is currently my lift. All of these parts an accessories were a gift while I was overseas on a deployment. Now, what is happening is with the offset or backspacing being more than what is "recommended or required", my front axle almost feels like its going to completely fall off... Both front wheels will jump back an forth an shake, and this truely scares the crap out of anyone that has ridden with me. It doesnt happen all the time, and seems to be more likely to happen in between speeds of 30-45 mph... Above or below that and it rarely happens if even at all.. I have all the stock suspension parts, do you think returning it to stock would correct this problem or what would be my best course of action here? And, has anyone else had an issue like this? IF NOT I REALLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THE SPECS OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU TRY TO MAKE IT ALL WORK TOGETHER......

Sounds like you are having some "death wobble" issues. Do a search for "death wobble" and you will see what I'm talking about.

The very FIRST thing I would check is to make sure your front trackbar is torqued to 125 ft/lbs...not just hand tight. It's most likely the cause of your problem, but if it happens very much, other front end components can be damaged and it will leave you chasing your tail and spending a lot to correct it. Don't put it off...check that trackbar!

It sounds like a tire balancing issue.

It's not a balancing issue.... Or an alignment.... I have rechecked both in the last month.... The trackbar I will check when I get bak home.... That will be a week.... I am out of town for the army currently....oh btw I'm not driving my jk right now until I fix this issue....
