D ring shackles on rear bumper?

Default D ring shackles on rear bumper?

I was wondering how I could attach some dring shackles to the rear of my JK? should I attach them to the bumper or maybe to the frame some how?

The frame is always best, but looking at that bumper your best option would probably be to have a shop weld d-ring tabs on the bumper bracket (the flat part between the tubes).

I would only hitch pull, if I were you, I have d-ring hook--ups on my bumper that have never been used.

^^^ My thoughts exactly. don't see any other place that would work without going to the frame!

You'd want a replacement bumper with shackle mounts for a D-ring. Or, toss the rear factory bumper and get the EVO D-rings mounts for the frame. GCM 2 runs them and has for a while.

Any new developments here? What about a C section with a mount?

I used a hitch mount clevis/d-ring before I got my new bumper. Worked great!
