I have 3/4 d rings on mine and tons of play. Guessing 7/8 would be no problem.

Youve got a 3/4 pin in a 7/8 opening? Is that ok?

Rattles more but that's jeep music in my eyes, fits well with the other squekks and random sounds, like an orchestra. As for using a 3/4 pin in 7/8 opening, other than noise should be no problem, it's still just as strong as a 3/4 pin in a 3/4 opening. If I'm ever in a situation where a snap a 3/4 inch pin I've got bigger issues than a rattle.

I've got 7/8 opening and some d rings with a 3/4 pin but I never put them on cause I thought it was a no no. Can anyone else verify this?
