I've never heard of a tire shop that will mount them. I mounted my own. No trouble with them.

I've got AEV bead locks and have had no trouble with them. It is not true that all tire shops won't mount them. A lot of the big corporate stores won't but many of the mom and pop stores will.

I've just had to put Baja Boots in two of my tires and I really like the fact that I can mount and dismount them myself in my driveway or on the trail....and I don't have to carry tire irons to do it. My opinion is that I want beadlocks because it frees me from needing a tire shop for anything but balancing.

If the Jeep is truly a daily driver and sees little trail use or is not aired way down life would be simpler with std wheels. If you don't need them for performance or repairability stay with std wheels.

I've had my AEV beadlocks on for almost 3 years and 25000 miles with no trouble. I have only retorqued them a few times.
