100% agree. 37's make garages a real challenge.....

Hey Bart... Just went through the same thing. I ended up going with 2.5" coil/shock lift and 35s.. here's a pic of before and after

I haven't had it long enough to get really good pics. Anyway, I am running 4.10 and although it doen't have the most power it will work for now. I won't go up from 35s anytime soon as I would rather learn to wheel and add all the accessories. plus going over the 2.5 and 35s starts to mess with drive shafts and whatnot. I drive in Denver, Co from the 'burbs to downtown everyday, my wheels are awesome and quiet, the lift is great. no complaints here. I will go to 5.13 one day. I also am only loosing 1.5 mgp with this configuration, which I'm happy about considering I haven't gone to superchips yet.

Last little word of advise. Jeeps have an "illusion" about them. the tires will always look too small. have a picture and go for it.. mine happens to be 35s with new bumpers, gears, and rack.. good luck.

Thanks for the input, think i'll go with the 35's for now. Bigger can wait till later.... Any recommendations on a mud tire with decent wear and aggressive side wall... I was looking at the KM2, or the MTR kevlars, anyone have experience with either? Pro's and Con's

im running 35's with a 4 RC lift stock gears. its a nice ride a bit worse on gas but thats not why i got a jeep and as far as a garage? why is one needed if your that worried just air your tires down to get in there. my jeep is still my daily driver i was going to go 33's but once you do you want 35's and if you get 35's you really want 37's. its a never ending cycle. so i in the middle with 35's.

As far as the re-gear goes, the terrain in which you drive in plays a big part in your experience. The flatter it is the more bearable the 4.10s will be. If you have long hills or mountain roads to deal with the 4.10s will suck with 35s and will be a disaster with 37s. I ran 4.10s with 35s for over a year before I went to 5.13s. During that time my JK could no longer be my DD because of the fuel economy loss.

I went with the 5.13s because i plan to go to 37s this year. I also rock crawl on a regular basis and the 5:13s are perfect while off-road.

Make your changes you want, if you find out that the experience is lacking, re-gear at that time. There is no perfect scenario for every jeep or every jeeper.

Mine is a daily driver. I have a 2.5" lift and 33's. Mine came stock with 4.10 gears and I am using a Superchips Programmer on the 91 tune. I do have more weight on mine because of the racks but I only get 15 mpg.
