I mean really, he has an 2007 X 2 door.... why would he memorize what an 2008 Sahara has??? who does that???

Im going through the same questions right now, but mine infact does have 3.21s... I came accross a set of 4.1s that came out of a rubicon, would they work with my front axle since i only have a D30? What would i need to purchase in addition in order to install the 4.1s?

X = 3.21 gears
X with towing package = 3.73 gears

So you would need:
A new carrier for that front D30
Front d30 4.10s
Sell the rubi front 4.10s
2 master install kits (regular install kits can be used on low mileage axles, but spend the extra money for the master kits with new bearings)
Wouldn't be a bad idea to:
Replace the seals
Add C Gussets
Depending on your offroad usage and future tire plans, consider:
Add inner and/or outer sleeves
Add Control Arm skids
Traction devices
Moving past 4.10s to ? (depends on future tire size)
