Default dana 30 Lockrite Installation Issues

So here's the history. I had a lockrite locker in the front of my JK for the last six months. Was originally installed by a local shop. Worked great until a run to Hot Springs last month where the inner sleeves failed. I had it warrantied by lockrite and re-installed the locker yesterday. Here's the problem.....it won't unlock in 2wd. Stays completely engaged and won't rachet like it should. I checked, double checked and tested everything I could think of and don't have any ideas why this wouldn't work. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Well, right now, Richmond Gear, who makes the Lockrite product, will tell you that there is NOT a unit for the JK. there IS a unit for the Dana 30 27 spline, but not specifically for the JK. I have called more than once in the last month and gotten the same answer. Also, the Danas in the JK are not the old "tried and true" dana 30 and 44 units. They are metric Danas. This is all straight from Richmond Gear. If you look on their site, they do not list a unit for the JK, either. I think Aussie is the only product at this time with something marketed specifically for the JK. In fact, even Aussie says their unit has not been tested in the JK, and there is no gauarntee that it will work. I could be wrong, but if I am, whomever I spoke with at Richmond is wrong as well.

Yeah - but AUSSIE did test the JK D30, and came up with a list of differences in the diffs.
