Where are you getting an Aussie for the rear? As far as I know there isn't one available yet. Please post information about which one you are installing.

I installed one in the front on my 2010 and it worked great. I have also Put lots of other automatic lockers in the rear axle on vehicles . if it is your daily driver and you have to commute quite a ways i wouldnt recommend it, especially on the short wheel base of a 2 door. but for off road they are amazing.

If you go out to their website, you will find that that part number is for PRE-JK rear d44's. They do not have one listed for JK's, but you could try calling them to verify.

I did see a post a while back indicating that a non-JK carrier was used to install a non-JK Aussie in a rear JK 44, but I don't recall if there were any issues or custom work involved in the install. Again, might be worth a call before you purchase.

Pre- JK 3.73 and down open carriers will work with the JK R&P. You need to drill the carrier for 7/16" or 1/2" ring gear bolts but it's an easy job.

So you can install one of these with modifications on 3.73-3.21's or 3.73-5.13?????

Sorry, I'm not quite sure I understand your question.

All JK rears, regardless of gear ratio (3.21-5.38), will use a 3.73 and down carrier. The JK 44 open carrier will not accept common lunch box lockers and you'll need to buy an earlier (TJ, CJ, Waggy etc) 44 open diff (3.73 down) and drill it for the appropriate ring gear bolts.

Did I answer your question?
