Dana 44 Carrier
Are Dana 44 carriers from older Jeeps compatible with the 07 JK Dana 44? I am considering installing a lunchbox locker in the rear, and understand that the limited slip (non Rubi) version has a different carrier. My buddy has a Dana 44 carrier from an older Jeep, and we think it may fit and be the carrier for the locker.
Anyone have experience with a lunchbox (Aussie maybe) in the rear of the JK Unlimited?

Yes. All you have to do is drill out the older carrier's ring gear bolt holes to the JK's larger size. That means you can run any aftermarket locker or LSD in the JK D44.
