I'm hoping to be ready to do the jamboree out there 2012. Still need upgrade with gussets at a minimum. Already have skyjacker trusses on long side front an rear - but not sure how capable they are.?. Then looking at rear axles.

I think these 44 axles can take a beating, I have wheeled with some people who really put a pounding on there unlimiteds with 35s and no problems

Stick with built 44s if you dont plan to run 40s or bigger. Higher cost and added weight running 60s on 37s. Just my opinion.
I went with the unlimited prorock 44 with RCVs, ARB, 5.13s, and installed ARB and Superior 35 spline shafts in the rear. Very confident driving and wheeling my JK on the hardest trails all over the country.

Default so the 35 spline does not fit in a sleeved front axle housing?

I also found out that you can not sleeve the rubicon 44 when installing 35 spline RCV axle shafts and thats why I only have the outer gusset in my list with no sleeves.
rcv 35 spline axles don't fit in a sleeved housing? spewing that was what i was gonna run but already have sleeves.

I'm running 37" 12.50 on my stock 44s with 5:13 gears no sleeves or gussets.

I've seen a few break like that, and I've seen others wheeled reasonably hard (Rubicon, Dusy, etc.) and survive just fine.

ive been running 37's on my stock D30 front for about 2yrs now with only a few worn all ball joints to show for it. I recently just purchased a D44 from a military j8 and am putting that on in the next few weeks. honestly I think with moderate wheeling it probably wont be an issue at all. I don't plan on beefing up the 44 for a while but if a d30 can hold up with a good amount of wheeling a 44 definatly can. IMO
